.DEEP DIVE DOWN.

Join Milo, an adventurous goblin as he dives to the depths of Buggy Trench to retrieve a valuable pearl.  As any good game description would tell you, danger is on the way down.  Maintain your submarine by salvaging gear, which can be obtained from the downed submarines of the Sub Trubs(aka baddies).  

Deep Dive Down is an auto battler. Select your starting set from the pier shop and press 'Dive Down' to get started. Level up equips by taking a duplicate gear from downed Sub Trubs. Get past the 10,000 kilometers depth to win!

Combat

In Deep Dive Down, you and the enemy from the Sub Trubs will exchange blows and blocks based on your equipment. Both attacks and armor are applied on an interval, with other stats modifying combat in various ways.

Stats

 Condition: Reduced by enemy attacks, you lose when it hits 0
 Armor: Provided on an interval, each point of Armor prevents 1 damage before damage is applied
 Haste: Reduces the delay of all intervals by 1% per point

 Might: Increases damage of all attacks by 1 per point

Known bugs:

  • When switching out a leveled equipment to check a dropped enemy equipment, the level icon is reset to level 1 (but the actual level is retained). 

Things we ran out of time for:

  • Balance weapon stats and effects
  • Multiplayer functionality
  • Settings; volume control

Things we want to include in the future:

  • Balanced progression with enemy, submarine, and stage variety
  • Shop and consumables system
  • Shipyard for maintaining, upgrading, and evolving submarines
  • Random events to alter a players dive
  • A bit of lore and more
